Hello everyone!I'm new in your community! I just built a new rig and i have one question. My specs are:
-Mobo:Asus M4A87TD/USB3
-CPU:AMD Athlon II X4 651 Box@3Ghz
-RAM:Kingston HyperX Beast 8GB DDR3-2133MHz Dual Kit
-Hard Drive:Seagate Barracuda 2TB SATA HDD
-GPU:EAH5450 SILENT/DI/1GD2
-Case:Thermaltake Urban S31 Windowed
-PSU:Corsair CX Series Modular CX750M
-Corsair Hydro Series H100i

*(I know i need a GPU immediatly!!!)

This is the problem:

I put both the H100i fans under the water pump but the right one didn't fit because of the big hyper-x coolers so i put it like that on the photos. Both fans output the air. is it ok to have it like that?

question 1: why isnt the top fan centered on the rad?
q2: is it possible to install both on top? it would also be easier to clean

Hi Jimmkal , Welcome to the OC3D forums.
I would do as maniac & Excalabur50 said and mount both fans on top as exhaust, it would look alot cleaner and be easier to clean .
Is it possible to mount the fans in the same holes as the radiator is mounted ?

So you bourght roughly what is the equivelent of a £50 prosessor and put a £100 sealed watercooling system on it?

And it's not even a model with an unlocked multiplier is it? Not sure about the logic here! xD Seems like a very unnecessary cooling solution.

well let's face it, watercooling is almost always pointless, the main point is aesthetics and noise.

oh, yeh it dose thats £80 that could be spent on proformance, gpu, cpu, you dont need better ram :L

it normaly is! If you are overclocking then its kinda useful becuse it has lower temps than most air cooling solutions but noise is a big factor.
watercooling can be useful if its just for the cpu and you have an air cooled graphics card that needs more air flow.

I guess the OP is still reeling over the lukewarm/semi rude welcome he just got on oc3d on his 1st post, and having is CPU /rig ridiculed when no one knows the circumstances (mark3 max the exception)
To answer... yes no problem having the fans as you have them, but as previously said i would be inclined to put them both on top to make it easy to defluf the rad

Also of note i see your rear fan is still exhausting and especially being close to the rad fans they will fight against each other a little, the 2 rad fans are more than enough for the exhaust and in my opinion in the best place .. so i suggest turning the back fan to blow in to the case.
I also like more fans blowing in than out, this keeps the case slightly pressurised and if you have filters on the fans should keep more dust out of the case as will not be suking dust in through any gaps in the case
Hope i have been a help
Dave

Holy s*** lol, Nice warm welcoming bunch you lot aren't you.

And to "Jimmkal", Yes that's perfectly fine the way you have set things up and as "daVeV8" points out, Turning your rear fan to blow air into the case would be a good idea :)
