Corsair Graphite 380T Mini-ITX

As my first/latest build is finished (for now) I am considering building something for my good lady and am digging the soon to be available (next month I believe) offering from Corsair.

The Graphite 380T might look like the result of an unholy union between a portable electric heater and a ghetto blaster but I think that's what I like about it.

What are your feelings regarding this case and the build potential. My girlfriend isn't a gamer or anything so I wont be looking to fit a monster GPU in there... unless I get lucky in one of the many competitions I've entered ^_^

I don't like the case much, side on as shown above with all the gear in it looks nice, just the outside as you said is like an electric heater!

I think it looks fantastic and I don't see why the fact it looks like a space heater is a problem, I mean space heaters are pretty cool. You wouldn't say 'omg it looks too much like the gas turbine from a military helicopter' because that's just freaking cool, it definitely needs a red LED fan in the front! I also think though that the 250D is a great looking case, i'd happily do a build in either but they would take a lot of work to get the internals up to my OCD standards.

I think its a pretty cool looking case. I like the idea of small builds packing a lot of power into a small space. I look forward to the build log!

I like the large amount of mesh. It means you don't have to go with a reference GTX 780/780ti to get the best temperatures.

Good point about the military turbine... perhaps it's just lacking some scorch marks... Hmmmm... ^_^

I am well down the charts as far as standards go - but I'm learning. ;)

Yup, I don't think she needs a monster full tower, especially as desk space is a premium in our little flat, but I am up for trying to do a decent and neat build in something a little smaller than the Stryker. :)

It looks like a well thought out case. I've a feeling the GPU is going to be governed more on how my bank account is looking and what's on special offer than pushing the cooling properties to the max. ;)

I also think that it kinda looks like the offspring of a Stryker (I know they're from different companies ;))... kinda... maybe a bit... anyhow, it might look cute on the desk next to mine.

Good to see they made some changes and didn't keep the internal lay-out of the 250D imo. Didn't really like that one too much tbh.

Yeah. I'm getting a bit nervous and a bit excited about taking this on. I've promised my other half that I'd replace the huge Antec thing (my old machine), now that I have a big new shiny rig, for something neater.

I can see me swearing quite a lot if I go ahead with this. I'm starting to consider something a little bigger/easier to work with but I do still kinda dig the way this case looks and reckon it would look neat with my Stryker at one end and the 380T at the other.

internals look a lot like the prodigy layout to me, though a lot of the matx itx cases are looking the same inside

Tbf, I'd rather have another Bitfenix rip off than something like the 250D. At least the first one has proven itself time and time again. This is a good in between design though, definitely an improvement and at least it's still somewhat original.
