Which one is better when it comes to read and writing speeds?
And how can i be able to calculate that.
Also , if the Corsair is faster, Do you have any recommendations?

the corsair is an ssd. it wipes the floor with any hard drive on the market. if you already have a hard drive then get the corsair. is this for a new build or an upgrade??

I am thinking the SSD will be for windows and frequently used applications and games.

But i am not sure.
I do not know the numbers :D

And i red in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IOPS that
a 7200 rpm HD SATA drive have around 75100 IOPS , while the CORSAIR has around 85000 IOPS.

So , i am wondering is it that big of a deal ?
Or speeds are calculated in a different way?
And if so , how can i know it :)

It's alright, we all have our off days :p
You get your OS and programs on that SSD, you'll be blown away by the speed difference. Also consider the Mushkin M4/Samsung 830 - extremely low return rates, very reliable & fast drives.

i'll be checking those :)
Which one do you think is the most reliable ?

SSD.SSD. SSD. SSD. Get one. Samsung 830 or Crucial m4. Use it for windows and a few programs, then a 500gb hdd or whatever size for games n'stuff.

I was amazed by the speed. So will you.

crucial is normally the most reliable. intel are also quite reliable as far as i know but im not sure if there change to sandforce controllers lowered the reliability a bit or not.

I am now checking the following brands.
Samsung 830
Crucial M4
But i do not know what you mean by Mushkin M4 ?
I have noticed that they have slower speeds than the CORSAIR version i started with which had
Max Sequential ReadUp to 555MB/sMax Sequential WriteUp to 520MB/s4KB Random WriteUp to 85,000 IOPS

So , i do not know why those ?
Do the other SSDs malfunction so often that i would go with a slower product to compensate for that , or what else is enveloped when judging what SSD to buy ?

I heard people talking about drivers , and controllers.
Are there anything note worthy about them ?
Thank you :)

What does those speeds affect then?
Or what is the speeds that i shall care about?

As for the return rate where can i find like a list of them ?

Samsung 830 or Crucial M4. Whichever is cheaper should be the one you go for, both are the two most reliable SSD's on the market so far

I can try to get Crucial M4 or Samsung 830.
But if i am going to get any of those i will have to ship it overseas , and if the item is defective , i will have to ship it back.
On the other hand i can get either

Intel 330 Series Maple Crest 180GB SATA 6.0Gb
or
Corsair Force Series GT 180GB SATA III
And be actually able to return it to a local store.
