Corsair Extends Select PSU Warranties from 7 Years to 10 Years

Corsair has decided to extend the warranties on their AXi, HXi, RMi and RMx Series PSUs from 7 to ten years, showing not only confidence in their products but a commitment to their users.

Nah, just shows that they have faith in their products. Take this as good news, I am.

It just shows that the cost of RMA's is easily covered by their margins over a 10 year period, who knows if that's down to low failure rate or low unit cost.

Corsair wouldn't be doing this 3 years ago, Remember the original AXi series PSU corsair have a high return rate on those PSU.

Also i didn't say it was a bad thing all i was saying is i wonder where they got the idea from to do it.

I think PC Power and Cooling were the first to offer a 10 year warranty back in 2006 or something. I'm into my 7th year with my HX 850 can't beat Corsair PSU's (well CWT and Seasonic made units). :cool:

I didn't say EVGA was the first company to offer a 10 year warranty but they were the only recent company to offer a 10 warranty.
