Hi,

i have my 1090T OC to 4Ghz its 1.48v and temps are as follows

Load: cpu: 64c

Load: Core: 54c

so which one shall i care about and this is with prime so are these temps ok for everyday stuff?

you're at the limit there mate but dont worry as nothing real world will push it as hot as prime

ah ok thanks but which is more accurate and i should look at some times also but only for a d=few sec then drops back down the cpu temp reaches 65 but i mean only for a sec then drops back down to 64 but mostly hangs around 63-64 in prime.

yes but as far as i can tell from other forums core temp is a sensor inside the cpu and cpu temp is the socket temp but then others say that core temps are calculated and not a sensor.

but as long as the temps are ok for everyday stuff im happy.

playing crysis 2 multiplayer for 2 hours my cpu temp is 54C

the core temps are meant to be much more accurate on the x6 than some of amd's other cpu and the cpu socket should be spot on too.

55c on the core and 65c on the socket is as high as you should let them get but like i said no real world software will push it as hard as prime, even folding will be around 10c less.

ok ill leave it as it is maybe late on i will upgrade to a custom WC set up but i dunno where any rads are going to go i have a cooler master enforcer.
