Chinese site Mobile01 were recently sent an Engineering Sample of the Core i7 EE 965, the most powerful of the upcoming Bloomfield processors at launch.

How curious Intel sent them just a cpu without them having a mobo.. I mean what`s the sense of that ? I wonder if it`s just a pic from the Intel labs or something. Costa Rica sounds familiar.

Keen to see how much, if what, more performance these give over the best 775.

Yeah tis a weird one for sure. Why an ES proc and yet no motherboard? It certainly makes it a little hard to bench without one

Yeah very true and I thought that it may come with LED Lights, as the blades are transparent
