LOL I am happy although it isn't a drop on the CPU I am planning to get. I am looking for the Q9550 to drop..

All the CPUs are going to take a big drop (I reckon) in price when i7 hits the market!

Ahhh ok not any more... They were at £105 on Aria super special for ages. Last email they sent me they replaced them with the Q6700 at £130. That's back up to £147 now.

LOL I might get the Q6700 if I can find it for the extra multiplier, though I am not too sure if it is worth it because the fact that you can take the Q6600 up to 3.6GHz on air.. If the prices of the Q9550 drop to a reasonable amount I will get one of those instead to be quite honest, I am seriously going to ditch the Q6600. It's just such a popular Quad and I think that it will be for quite some time.

Though, being me I want to get the better of the two and the better overclocker as I do a lot of benchmarking and I love to push my hardware to the max so I am going to opt for the Q9550, please let me know when the prices drop

Wonder if the E7200 will also drop $20. That would really open up the possibilities for me. I was intending to get the E7200 and then I found the E7300. Now with the E7400 at the same price I was going to pay any way the question is whether to save some money or spend what I was going to and get the latest and greatest of the E7xx series or wait to see if the prices drop some more in a month or so.

Looks like I got in the market just when it was changing all over the place.
