Cooler Master Sniper and Corsair H100 questions

hello everyone, i am thinking about buying a Corsair H100 cooler (i hope here is the right place to talk about this with it being a bit inbetween water and air cooling) and i have been researching how hard it would be to install into my Cooler Master Sniper case. I read somewhere (sorry i dont have the link) that you need to remove a riveted part of the case to be able to install the 240mm radiator onto the predrilled holes at the top of the case, does anybody know anything about this? If i do get the H100 i will have a spare 200mm fan, does anyone know a good location for this to be placed in the case to improve airflow or cooling as i may as well if i have it spare? Thanks in advance for any help, i will try and look for that link i mentioned but i have read many many pages about it so i might not be able to find it.

Edit:I found the link, its for a different radiator but i think it is still relevent Link here

I have a sniper case and will look at it but I think there isnt enough room with it to the top of ur mobo it'll hinder any mofset sinks and or ram sinks. I'll post back in a few after checking it out as the case is empty atm shouldn't be to involved

ok first pic is of top of case with 2 x 120mm fans installed as you can see the screw holes are accessible easily and fans will fit under the brace as well

next 2 pics show how much room is left after 2 x 120mm x 25mm fans are installed

thanks S_I_N, thats an incredibly helpful post. Your measurements give 3cm maybe a few mm more until it gets to my ram and the radiator is 27mm thick so there should be space for it (the fans you measured with are the same thickness as what comes with the H100). i also continued my research and other people have done it. Was removing the plastic from the case easy? (i am not near my PC currently so i cant look) also do you have access to any sort of guide if it isnt simple? thanks again for the help
