ahhhhhh stupid me (i did wonder how prommie fitted in a shuttle case) i just presumed
What setting do you have the fans that cool the cooler (cant remember wot its called as im tired and its getting late ) set too? maybe its not getting cold enuff itself which is reflecting on why you have higher temps?
well u see those settings at "auto" you shud be able to change them to numbers yourself, im not sure how tight u can make your settings as i know nothing about ure ram, start at cas 2,3,3,6 and go from therem that usually works with most decent ram.
warlord, wot mobo you got, is it an abit? ive heard they are a bit inacurate with their temp reading (wether this is fact or not i dunno) but the -29 mbm shows seems more feasable, i never pay much attention to wot the mobo says
Epicurus, did you manage to get your temps down? I am seeing -22c idle here but 0c under full load with prime95 and +6c with the case side on. The chip is a P4 Prescott 3.2ghz @ 4ghz (1.4vcore). Not sure what to do now, I've already tried reseating. Evap temp is at -46c....
with my barton 2500+ running at 1.8v 2.640Ghz idle -18 full load -7 full load with my st and running at 2.2ghz at default 1.65v idle -26.
I had a prob with the thing that is meant to protect smd components ware it moved while i was mounting the head so that i couldnt start up. and i acidently used standard thermal compund instead of the silver that came with it
