OK, I've asked this question before but I never really got a definitive answer, so I'll ask again:
My computer will not wake properly after being put into 'sleep' mode. After been put in sleep mode, when I try and wake my PC (either by pressing keys on the keyboard or by pressing the power button) nothing happens. The lights my case fans turn on and the fans start spinning, but the PC won't start again. You have to hold down the power button, turn off the computer, and wait a minute before you can turn in on again. It's so annoying!!
I am running a Asus P8P67 Pro mobo with i5 2500K which is overclocked to 4.5GHz. Could it be due to the fact that I have disabled all the power save settings during the overclocking process? There is a 'EPU' switch on the motherboard which I'm fairly sure controls some sort of power delivery/saving... I have tried it both off and on and it makes no difference....
Can anyone please help me??
EDIT: Yes, I know the logical conclusion is "well just don't sleep your computer then" but I want it all to be working properly and I use the sleep function allot.
