Hi everyone!
My pc freezes randomly! i did post before about this but people stopped posting and I really could do with some help.
I have reinstalled windows 8.1 after a graphics card upgrade. I stress tested the system with no problems.
When the computer freezes I cant do nothing, the keyboard lights stay on but i cannot use the keyboard, i cannot CTRL ALT DEL etc.
I have done a mem test. cpu stress test, gpu stress test. hdd and ssd tests, everything is ok.
I did a virus scan with AVG found 2 threats yesterday which have been dealt with.
When the pc freezes it just locks and the sound out of the speakers is a buzz, no matter how long I wait 95% I need to manually restart the computer. The odd thing is when it freezes and i press the restart button on my case, it does not restart without a 15 second ish delay.
The freezes were common before the windows 8.1 reinstall and new graphics card. sometimes a few times a day, sometimes once a week. After the windows 8.1 reinstall the freezing is now roughly once a week or once every two weeks. Its better but not solved.
Now I have just noticed I think it locks up when im using firefox and possibly when watching flash content like bbc iplayer or youtube, I have a sneaky feeling this may be the issue.
Any help will be appreciated

how can I test the motherboard? I could still return it to amazon but not sure which new 1150 socket motherboard to replace it with. Also I can't return the PSU because I dont know if it is faulty and I will be charged for shipping all the way to Holland
