On its way to me tomorrow is the following -

Core 2 Duo E6300

Gigabyte DS3

G.Skill 2GB DDR2 LA PC2-5400

Scythe Ninja.

I want to overclock this beast and it can spank an FX-62 when at 2.5Ghz, what speeds do you chaps think I am looking at for it, with the above gear.

Its just tiding me by until I get an E6600 in a couple of weeks.

3GHz. You`re knee-capped by the multiplier. it will indeed spank all AMD stuff. I was thinking of getting a similar setup, but its just too easy.

the Multi goes to 9/10 I think and the FSB does 485Mhz

errr...if thats a retail E6300...you`re max multi should be 7?

485 aint bad tho....voltmods or stock?

I aint seen much evidence of 485 at XS?

Ive not got the RAM to match it, Ithink about 3Ghz will be my Maximum really.

Ill get all my scores on here, not that theres much point with Mav about.

I think everyone should bench their own kit to the best of their ability - I still have the fastest 939 scores in the UK - but look at Sacha32, he's owning the 6800 SLI scene

Also - contributing to the team is what its all about - it's a great feeling to know that your score has just entered the top 10 and helped bump the team rankings in the MBot challenge.

Enjoy your new kit my friend - at 3ghz it should do well, well enough for a FX62? will be close but I think you can nip a few wins there too.
