Coming back to watercooling!

Haha, I have a blu ray drive I use for blu rays. Could use a USB I guess... Would allow me to install a sexy 480 radiator up top, remove the drive bay and go for internal res and pump. Instead of a bay one...

Hmmm.

Also been doing further research, I really like the look and builds using acrylic tubing. So will certainly be going down that route!

Yup ditch that drive and drivebay, tube res and pump is where it's at now :)
Also acrylic tubing is lush, but it's easily 3 times as much work to get the loop in and sorted.

Worth every bit though when done right, it's a learning process and you'll melt a lot of plastic but by joe does it look nice when you're done.

Well that's what I'm looking for, a winter project, where I spend time here and there building it up.

Not to be done in a couple of evenings.

I'll have my current system whilst I'm working on it so won't have any downtime.

Can't wait!

Nooooo do not ditch your optical drive! It's truly retro, and the moment you remove it you'll be in need of it. Trust me it will happen! ;)

I've got a external drive, I just need to grab an external Blu Ray drive.

Anyway, PC, will start a project log shortly. I'm still, STILL working out the items I need to buy. So many options these days!

I havent had an optical drive in about 10 years, it frees up lots of space for fancontrollers, ubs panels, reservoirs, pumps etc. Been using my laptops and usb sticks for the odd occasion i need to get summat from a disk.

Although if ya like the clean look on the front of the 750d im thinking you wont be messing it all up with lots of gadgets and panels :)
