Combining Two RAID 1 Arrays Into One Drive

So here's a technical question about combining two RAID 1 arrays into one drive letter, how that even would be possible when RAID 10 isn't an option due to the drives being of a different size (hence the two mirrored arrays).

I've noticed in Windows Disk Manager I can actually convert both arrays to Dynamic Drives. This is what you would normally do first before you can combine those drives into one drive letter, essentially JBOD them. But I'm a bit afraid of what this would do to the RAID 1 arrays? Would they be destroyed or could it actually work? How would the RAID behave if something like this is done?

I guess the main question here is, if one disk dies would it crash both arrays?
