Hehe, every time i've had the money for a good screen, i've gone and spent it on some kind of hardware upgrade

I just cant bring myself to spend out on a new screen...i just dont know why

disagree, have yet to se anything better than my lcd.

and with a response time of 3ms i get no shadowing whatsoever in games or movies, if i only could get rid of the blurriness i have in some games i would be more happy.

My current Panasonic CRT sux, text is kinda blurry, strains my eyes just a touch, not too fun Need to build up a bit of money and get myself a nice 20" LCD

Dont forget you get up to 1 extra inch when going from crt to lcd.

used to have a 15" and 17" both crt and the 17" obviosly looked bigger.

now i have a 17" crt and a 19" lcd and the difference is hugh almost 3 inches.

the lcd is almost 50cm corner to corner and it feels so damn good to have it.

and the lowered power consumption is good to.

the crt uses upto 130w and the lcd max out at 35w.

good now when the electricity prices goes up.s
