I'd like to know if there's any way to contact the administrators besides this forum. IRC perhaps?

Anyways I got callvote kicked (temp banned) from the #2 CoD4 server for the fifty-eleventh time now. This often happens when theres more new people and less old school people on the server. Democracy (the voting system) does not work when there's too many clueless people voting.

Would be great if there was an admin available to unban some time. Maybe in the #overclock3d chat room on irc.quakenet.org ?

i think that perhaps the temp ban thing should be removed, and make it a kick only. PB enabled would sort out any hackers so it would not be necessary for temp bans.

idk if theres a way to unban a temp ban =/

AFAIK temp bans can only be cleared by restarting the COD server. They don't appear to be written to any kind of file unlike perm bans. Obviously they clear automatically after a short while, but I agree it's not very nice if you've been unjustly kicked.
 
So what you think to

PB back on

No temp banning

Kick only (if that can be done)

Then only guys being nubs can be kicked, hackers dont get on full stop and if they do an admin can be contacted via xfire (i dont mind havin my xfire rotated in server messages)

also - remove killhouse from the .85 server lol

EDIT: Why was PB turned off on #2?
 
i think jim said it was having problems with the new patch or something

ill just poke him again to put it back on as it did remove alot of cheaters

Temp banned again. This time because I told some guy to move when he was blocking the way.

What happened was that a guy in my team "T ! L L" (with some clan tag too) was blocking the way so my team couldnt get to where "rocu" in their team was hiding.. they said "don't kill rocu we must do challenge". I told him to get out of the way so we could play, and then they kicked me.

Voting should not be possible for noobs =(
 
banned again, this time from server #1. remove the option to vote for people with less than 100 hours played on your servers :\

edit: got 13 votes for yes, and 2 votes for no. awesome.

edit2: I'm never gonna get my name clean if I get kicked for cheating every time I join. Someone even started a vote against me today because he saw that I got accused of cheating yesterday.
 
is there a way of doing that? i will happily enabled it - or totally disable votekick completely

nah I dont think there is a way of doing that.

If you wanna disable votekick you need to have pb enabled on both servers. I've never seen anyone get away with cheating on a pb enabled server. I saw one guy cheating once and after a few seconds he got pb banned.
 
ok well pb is enabled on both so il disable the kicking on the smaller server.

i dont really manage the #1 server often so at least i can be accountable for #2 - unless its #1 givin u grief
 
#2 doesnt have any ppl usually so I end up playing on #1 even if I think its a too big server. Problem with kicks is on both servers :)
