Decided as a few of you may know to leave the water cooling up to our good friend cashman, seems hes loving it ;)

anyway, in the meantime iv gone back to air inside a different case, new tft and a few other things

specs now:

cm110 with panaflow L1's

XP90c cooler with 92mm panaflow L1

3000 venice

DFI ultra D

1gb gskill LE

x800xt with arctic cooler

74gb raptor

160gb WD storage

OCZ 520

Samsung 913N tft (awesome gaming panel, who can complain at £215inc)

running my former fan controllers internally due to the door on the case having no clearance

clocks:

atm the cpu is at 280x9 1.376v 1:1 2.5-3-3-7

tho i have ran at my water settings for a while, but decided in the recent heat to just run stock volts, only been playing for an hour so 280 isnt so bad for now, will see how far it goes :) This chip did 317x9 (or whatever 2.85ghz works out at lol) with 1.6v on water so is a fairly good chip

x800xt runs at 530/520 24/7, doesnt seem a great clocker, would like to have me water back to see how far it can go, but i got this with the arctic for a mere £165inc :D so who cares

here she is in all her glory!

Looks very cool, i really like those cases, i would get one if i didnt keep insisting on using ridiculous cooling lol.

will snap a few tomorrow :) kept getting reflections from the window, cudnt be ****d to remove it, will do tho when i get chance

cabling isnt the tidyest however it isnt terrible ;) just a couple or braided wires on show, yes i finally got around to it!!!

lol know how you feel mate, the water was mint but...just wasnt something i needed, so sold it and got the cm case and a new tft :)

I love to play with such things though, so what i have really been wanting to do for a while now is to build a second, quiet, aircooled rig that looks good with a LCD just for 24/7 running so that i dont have to worry about fiddling with my main machine and then being left with no computer after i break it.

Funds are a problem however, and all the money i do get i just want to spend on my main rig atm cos i hate some parts of it.

i always use my lappy as a rig i dont fiddle with as tbh windows is the only thing i can fiddle with and if i fiddle with it good old windows breaks so..... its catch 22

i like water cooling although there is some nice new air coolers coming out but air is just so inefficient in comarison to water!!!

btw how much u get yr cm110 for?

phil

Lovely cases those - I anodised my one to Kawasaki Green if you remember and Fatty owns her now :)I've got another couple of coolermaster's kicking around here, but I've not used them as I tend not to air cool.

i got it for £130inc as on the off side panel are some scratches, but its not seen so as the rest of hte case is immaculate it appears to be in mint condition. got the normal solid side panel too but the inside of this panel looks like they have used it to slide down a road on, but i have the immac window so who cares :D

yeh i remember the green one mate, looked very nice, what cm's you got there bud

yeh i have a backup rig which is a bit quieter than this beast (tho was noiser than the water rig), its a 2.4 celeron D, 80gb HD for all that precious pron backup, 512mb 3200 elixir (bargain aria mem)with a gf2 :D so not a gamer by any means but its on the other tft atm, so good for browsing and such when the water beast was out of action, tho i dont really need it now unless something dies in my main rig

mmmmmm cm110.... nicest case ever... apart from one of those black cm201s or whatever name they went by.

Air cooling is often underestimated IMO.

Brwmogazos used to have one of those black 201s not sure if he kept it though.

The build quality of that case looks soo good, even in the pictures - cant imagine what its like in person... i'd be afraid to touch it!

Looks very nice man....

This might/might not be a stupid question but... Is the air rig you have now louder than your watercooling rig... if it is, is it ALOT louder or a bit?

Cheers,

yes its much much louder lol

tho to me a normal antec 430 psu is loud so to you guys it may seem quiet

the pc75 was very very quiet which i think i underestimated, having this now shows just how quiet i had it

the raptor seems to be much lopuder in this case also which is strange, the pc75v must have been able to absorb vibrations better
