CM Storm Trooper 6 fans on stock controller?

Hey everyone.

Just wondering if anyone has tried the said question.

I would be nice to know if the stock fan controller has some decent overhead for extra fans. I've got six in my case ATM. 2 x 120 + 1 x 200 on the fan controller with the 140 off the power supply.

I have 2 of my Antec 902 fans in the side panel and I wouldn't mind running them off the controller with some adapters and Y-splitters. It'd be wicked if I could do it without frying something.

Tom since you get free stuff...... could you please do some testing?
I and many others would like a definitive answer to this since Cooler Master seems content on hiding the specs for this.

As to your question have you tried using the contact us feature, most companies would answer your question.

Yes I know that he's busy, he's also got a couple sitting there. And I also know that 'if you don't ask, you don't get'.

I was only asking doesn't mean he has to do it.

Also I was asking if anyone has tried using more than the stated 4 for the controller, so unless you can shed some light on the topic.........

I would try, if I could buy a replacement fan controller from CM just in case it dies.

As for the question - it's 5 channels. If you want more fans to run off it, you need splitters, and yes it will work.

Stop being rude to people, as we most likely know more than you do, and you are the one requiring help of us. Your comments of 'Thanks dick' will not go down well with the mods either.
