Clock frequencies reset

Hi everyone, I've had trouble overclocking my GO 7600 for a while now. I've tried Coolbits, rivatuner, & atitools, but all of them reset my overclocks. I have a HP dv8339us if that would be of any help. I've also tried using different drivers but to no avail. Is it possible that the gpu bios locked the overclocking options?

It's very possible that in a lappy they have hardlocked the clock speeds in the BIOS. You do have an option however :D You can flash the cards BIOS with a custom revision in which you specify the clock speeds. Just be careful that you don't go to far, and only go in no more than 5mhz increments so that you don't brick your lappy's vid card.

You can use a program called NiBiTor to modify the BIOS and clock speeds. I think it will all work just the same as a desktop vid card.

I would be careful when overclocking a laptop GFXs card.

The heat could kill something, don't push it too far! ;)
