i just use an old rag to clean my thermal paste off. seriosuly, who the fuck cares about the "microscopic valley's"

I get about 45ºC load, im fuckin happy.

the only thing about that rag, is there is almost no clean space left. then i just use my shirt or sleeve .

WHAT lol!?!?!? Seriously, microscopic fuckholes can bite me. Ever notice it only makes at max like a 1ºC difference. Just wipe it off, spit on it, and wipe it again.

ok then nicks put ur money where u mouth is... dont use thermal paste and see how the ~7% of total possible surface contact area you will recieve affects ur cooling

Dude i sed I don't use any special cleaners to wipe away old paste. I just use a rag. Of course I apply thermalpaste, wtf!

Arent we forgetting the good old nail polish remover, thats what i use but make sure it hasnt got acetone in it
