Thats a nice smart rig there dude...liking the white fan in contrast to the black case. Whats the specs? I cant read you sig XD

As for cable management, its easy to just tuck things behind other things and hide them round the corner, i find having nimble fingers helps...cant believe im the first to post a reply on a nice tidy rig...

Get that window done! i wanna see it complete..

I like the white fan look too (hope it was on purpose and not cuz that's the only fan you had!) Can't wait to see more pics of your tidy job, and of that window.:)

Tacens Gelus II Extreme CPU cooler and heatsink

Scythe Kaze Master Ace

Asus P5K Pro

OCZ 4GB DDR-2 Platinum Series  @1003MHz

Nice rig ;) the white leds are very subtile in the dark.

Also (since i know your rig) I like that it has silent fans. Beside that 30dB sharkoon one xP Change that, seriously xD

EDIT:

Hi guys just a quick update, I have received my Xigmatek fan :)

pics:

(sorry for bad quality, I need a better camera, lol AND A TRI POD ^^

I just got the same xigmatek fans! I think they look awesome. Sleeved mine though...

Ok, an update,

Ive finished my window cut and done the cable management, here are some pix.

I was wondering, is it possible that GPU temps increase by 10°C if you cut out the fanhole and place plexi??

Cuz in load i had like 62 max, now max:71.. how is this possible? just because of the removing of the (not used) 120mm hole?

Anyhow, tell me your exact thoughts, note that this is my first ever cut out :p

The edges aren't rly smooth but since it's your first cut it's looking pretty good ;)

About the temps... if removing the fanhole is the only thing you did then that must be it. Did you block airflow in any other way?

no, i only did cm better, but thats all, so it must be that...

CPU temps are +2°C

Yeah, edges arent the best, but I was affraid it would scratch the paint too much... ;)

not enough cool air is getting into your case - try adding a mesh to the plexi somewhere, or maybe even just drill a couple of holes into it.

Temps arent dramatic, I was just wondering if it can raise it that musch :)

Thanks :)

♠I might add a mesh, but that will be in the future, for now im happy with it :)

I experienced better spu temps as the side fan obstructed airflow in the case nut there agen i just covered it up. looks good so far antec 300 cases are good bases for modding and definatly suits it with black interior and window cut. What plexi did u use? where from?

Keep up the good work though looks gud ;)

Nice mod man what you need to do to make it a little cleaner is take some black paint or even a black permanent marker and color in the edge of the cut so you cant see the exposed metal when you do this your eye wont be drawn to to minor imperfections. If you also get some rubber edge molding it will also make a dramatic difference and make it look very professional.

Yeah, if I get more time ill prolly paint the whole sidepanel again or somethng.. Also if I find thinner molding I will use it, but imho my current is too thick :P (ill try to put a pic on)

@stevej696: I bought it in a belgian store called IT-service http://www.it-service.be/webshop/product_info.php?cPath=29_32&products_id=98 for 12 euros, and it's 'smoked black acryl' or something ;) 3mm thick

I might do something to my thermaltake aswell in the future, but thats for when I have some more time lol...
