Realy looking forward to any and all updates for this build.

Just happens that I recently bought a sabertooth X79 board, i7 3820 CPU, AX750 power supply and cosmos II case.

Looking to start my first water cooling build and I have to admit ... I will be using some of these parts you use and as such ..

Don't try to fit a 60mm deep rad in the roof of the cosmos 2 as it wont fit

I found that out, but if you have a small length power supply and get abit creative with hard drive arrangements it should fit in the bottom which is where I will be looking to fit mine over the next few weeks or months.

Hi Guys.

I just completed my build that is very much like this one just except for the watercooling bit.
My part's are: Cosmos 2 ofc., asus rampage 4 extreme, Intel 3970x cpu, 32gb corsair dominator platinum 1866, corsair h100 cooler, 2 club3d 7970 Ace edition, creative fatality soundcard, 1 samsung 840 pro 256gb ssd drive and 2 3tb seagate barracuda drives and a corsair ax1200i powersuply.

My problem is this: when i try to overclock my cpu just to gamers overclock my computer reboots ofc but it does not boot up, its like it looking for the gpu so it's shuts down then i have to shut Down the powersuply for a few seconds and the i can get in the bios and set it to stock again and the it works.
The other problem is when i get to work at stock levels and try to do 3dmark vantage for a simple P-score run it freezes and i have to reboot.

So guys please help me and yes i'm a noob.
Looking forward for you reply's:)

Best regards

Martin

martin, have you just tried benching it stock, no overclock?
what overclock are you trying to achive?

but obviously, all the latest drivers and system support is installed.

i'd say you have some sheer instability. even a stock freze suggests some
incompatibilty or defect. try just two sticks of RAM and retest. a prime 95 load
for 12hrs on blend should weed out RAM issues. MEMTEST86 sometimes cant
find a deep flaw.

when i tryed the bechmark it was at stock. I have updated the bios and grafic's so everything should be up to date. when i see the rams it only shows 24gb so could it be that one of them is not installed correctly or that its defect?

What deano meant to say was this is the wrong section for this question and we would need more details about what you are trying to achieve, its likely to be user error than anything else.
