I think I may have found the limit with this one now though (gonna try 1 more time tonight before moving on)

My full settings affter going too far and not getting anywhere were :
multi 17.5
bclock 262
Vcore +0.200
CPU NB +0.150
Memory Auto ( I don't really know what I should be doing here - yet)
NB +0.050
HT +0.030
Despite trying higher voltages on everything I could not get 17.5 X 263 to post, perhaps when I have done all the other tests I will come back to it and push the volts up more.
Now that I understand the voltages better I am trying one last thing atm which is higher multi and lower bclock again just to see if I can get that little bit more.
I will then install the relevent software needed for PCmark04 and give that a go

Its my wifes birthday today so I have been a little distacted with long phone calls
any way I have moved on to the next test which is Prime 32m to get a feel for that. I submitted a score but it seems to have dissappeared after I deleted a previous one which had the wrong chip listed.
I don't think this is a great score and I was on a playing around clock looking at what other people had got. I now need to find out how to clock the memory as what I tried did not work - answers on a post card please
I also have some shots from PCmark04 and 05 showing the problem with the scores, I will get them transferred to this pc later and posted here for you to look at and perhaps help find solution.

My CPUZ validation which I forgot to do the other night so redone again last night. I noticed I was getting away with a lower HT last night and thought I was going to get to 4.6 but alas poor yorric it was not to be.

This was a quick try on Super Pi 32 from the other day which I did not post as I thought I could do better ( I have not managed yet) and the second is the problems with PCMark04 I am having.
Below PCMark looks as though it completed all teh tests, note the bench online support retired window.

Another quick update,
I played with Super Pi 32m and got a score of 15m48.922s

I also had a quick play with Pifast as well and got 24.48 (seems endings of 48 are common today for me)

Well after installing last night and playing around a bit I got down to running a couple of benchmarks and set up a F@H account. "AMD-Chudley" which I run at stock speed all through the night only to find that my pc went to sleep 30 minutes after I did!!! Anyhow sorted that out first thing this morning and completed my first WU this PM.
So back to last night. Post install my first test to have a go at was PCMark04 and after failing about (well exactly 12) PCmark04 tests I installed PCmark05 and ran that - success at first go although it was only at stock speed PCmark05 score Not great but as this is the first time I have ran these tests it will give me a rough idea of what to expect.
I then set about trying to get PCmark04 to work and after a few more tweaks here and there finally had my eureka moment and got it working managing to achieve a score 8783@ stock everything
the pic is rubbish so I will run it again when I have OC'd and get a better score.
I have a trial code for PCmark vantage and will run that later- although I am having trouble with T'internet again on my bench machine for some reason. I am too scared to reset everything as I know how hard it will be to get it setup again! then again that might pop up in a different thread.
Something else I would like to mention, I had my PC on all day today adn the weather has been quite nice so teh ambient temperature had got to around 24 degrees. I had the scythe susanoo on low speed and my CPU was showing 47 degrees whilst folding away. Now i have noticed teh extra amount of air that the fans push out when on full as it makes my hands cold (wrist mainly) when I am tweaking on the keyboard or typing (see photos) but with HWMon running and fans full on I noticed a drop in temperature of 7 degrees. That is pretty darn good in my books.
Final comment, as the n00b I can assure all of you out there that playing with these chips on this MB is not toooo daunting and as I have hopefully shown the equipments are definatley worth their pennies. I will continue to push for higher limits and hopefully catch the experts up again, pictures in next update.

The CPU can take quite a bit of a kicking too mate, I've gone for a few dangerous voltage tests to try and get a higher max OC but to no success as it simply wont go any further than 4.56Ghz from boot.
The memory doesnt run at rated voltage out of the box aswell mate, the bios is horrible but you can change the voltage to -.200 and manually set the timings for more OC headroom for increasing ram voltages

Cheers Ian, tbh I am still figuring the memory oc thing out as that is a weak area of mine.
In the meantime I have done this (but I am not sure about being first and getting 0 points)
