Choosing case fans

Hello, I will be buying 8 fans for my case which will all be controlled by a Lamptron FC9. I want them to have good performance because I may decide to go water cooling in the future. I really like the Corsair Sp120 quiet fans but I cant get them here(in Bulgaria) and since you cant get a lot of the good fans here I will be really happy if you can tell me which is the best fan from this shop:

Corsair SP fans are made for radiator and heatsinks anyway, not as casefans.

Well then, after 10 minutes of trying to navigate on what appears to be the slowest site that I have seen all year (not even kidding) I found that the BeQuiet SilentWings or Bitfenix Spectre Pro fans would probably be best for your budget.

I'm a big fan of the Bitfenix Spectre Pros. They looks great and perform good as case- as well as radiator fans.

If you need CASE fans and not radiator fans wtf do you need 8.....

if you just fill your case with fans will get you called a n0000b right?

The only thing that I dont like is that 20dba is too quiet and my fan controller may become useless.

I'm a big fan of the Bitfenix Spectre Pros. They looks great and perform good as case- as well as radiator fans.

BeQuiet Silent Wings won't go on rads due to their mounting system, so if you are thinking of upgrading at some point, avoid them.
The Bitfenix fans have been pretty good in my experience however.

I dont want something extremely quiet because I have a fan controller and I want it to do a decent job with radiators. A lot of people seem to like the Enermax T.B. Silence V but I am not sure if they can cool radiators good.

seems that the fan controller has more precedence than what fan is needed.

nothing wrong using radiator (high static pressure) fans for case fans, but they
tend to make extremely more air-noise than a simple CFM case fan.
buying the right fan for the location, function and task needed and you might not
need a controller.

not a fan of the TB fans for radiators. the Noctua P12 (19.6dbA) fans are pretty
good case fans and can be used as a radiator fan for a bit.

one thing to consider is manufacturer sound ratings are not standardized. most
of them are estimated or calculated so someone's 20dbA rated fan can be louder
than somebody else's rated 20dbA fan. some of the "specs" can not be held as
spot on as they'd like them to be.. pretty much size, color and how many wires it
has is about as right they can be and all the other is "blue sky" (estimated)

-Noiseblocker NB-BlackSilentPRO PL2
-Silverstone AP121
Which one do you think is the best out of these?

from those.. i'd say there is no best as they all have the good points and bad points.

the GT/AP14, be warned that they tend to click or grind on under-volting with controllers.
i'd use these for the dual purpose of case fan and rad fan..

the NB fans are good, but not for the money asked.. cougars reverb too much
for my taste (drone/hum).

the ap121's are great as intakes an good on rads, i havn't used the Noiseblocker so i cant comment on them

I was thinking that if I get ap121s for top exhaust they may interfere with my cpu heatsink. Is that true? I am not sure about the ap-15s because a lot of people say that they produce an annoying whine which may bother me.

Scythe AP-14 and the noiseblocker are the best of those you have listed. The gentle typhoon will outperform the noiseblocker in pressure & airflow but will be slightly louder. I need to drop the speed of my AP-15's down to 1000rpm to make them almost silent. I have 6 AP-15's, an enermax TB silence 140 (psu) & a bequiet silentwings 140 in my case. I have to run both 140mm fans at about 800rpm to keep them quiet plus they don't flow as much air as the AP-15's either.

I have a NZXT Tempest 410 and a 212+. I will probably go with the noiseblockers because the ap-14's whine will most probably bother me.

None of my AP-15's whine at any speed and i have done frequency analysis on the sound of mine to check. There is a slight peak at 15.4KHz but the noise of the fans lower down is slightly louder. This measurement includes the noise of the rest of my system too. (The D5 pump makes more noise than the fans)
