Yeah, the waits for modern sequels are obscene. It's kinda mad how much things have changed since the late 2000s and early 2010s.

Agreed, but there were only four years between The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3. Four years was enough time to create one of the best RPGs ever made. It can be done, and there is no reason to believe that it can't be done again.
