Check my pre-setup please =]

Thanks to Dr Peeves I now have an idea on what my watercooling setup will consist of.

D-Tek FuZion Universal CPU Waterblock

1/4" BSP Delrin T Block

XSPC High Quality 1/2" Tubing

Swiftech MCR220QP 2 x 120mm Radiator

Laing DDC 12v Pro Pump & Plexitop (13901)

Price comes to £ 143.41 inc. vat on specialtech (minus £ 7.69 for free postage)

I know I still need connections and a few other stuff. I am happy for any comments/recommendations but my pure aim for WC is as cheap as possible but with best performance in my affordable range. So im discarding any upgrades that give negligible gain and embracing those that give more performance/£.

I need a recommendation on fluid/coolant, but would want it UV reactive (blue or green would look sweet). I need some spacer thingies to fit rad to back of case plus the usual connectors and stuff (not sure which, never done this b4 :p) so that means fans too :p

Cheers

Well if cheaps the aim, don't go for the D-Tek.

the EK or XSPC blocks are both more than up too the task (Ive seen a report wherethe EK block out-perform a d-tek...).

Another thing: Always check STs WC clearance

X20 block

tripple rad

While yes you'll loose some performance by using the cheaper parts, the saving is worth it for about 3° higher temps imo.

I totally agree with you there - im all for cheaper parts if its only loosing me 3 degrees. Heck if the saving was enough id give up 10 degrees.

What would be an estimated temp range for those parts incorporated into my setup compared to the previous setup (in question)? 3ghz e6300 @ 1.425v (currently at 52c idle :/)

Well my E4300 @ 1.48v (or something stupid) @ 50% load is 43° and the fans on my rad are at 7v. My WC temps ain't fantastic but its sssoooo queit too
