I have been thinking on this after watching... I can't put my finger on it but, there's something about it that just rubs me wrong. Maybe its the setting, or maybe its a seeming love of the violence, just bugging me. I did notice I really didn't give two hoots at all about the characters, which is disappointing... that may be what is troubling about it. I know I won't buy the series cos it just lacks depth and to be honest seems slightly racist, but can't really point to anything precisely.. *shrug* so it goes.

To Jerome: just googlevid for the Japanese release. You aren't missing anything if you don't understand the dialogue cos it doesn't really take you anywhere.

Actually, its more fun in Japanese than English, and more interesting. The dialogue just turns it into a transformer cartoon in CGI.

Hmm really what I am into, watched the jap version for the reason posted by Jerome did not understand a thing but did pick up on "youtube hd" in japanese

, also noticed that when he switches from rifle to pistol he throws it away but as he is shooting the rifle reappears in the slung position so a continuity error and that in just a small clip so what will the full episode be like. I think I may have wasted my life by not becoming a film critic.

I"ve thought on it. Its well done, its purty... but to be honest it lacks more content than watching someone else playing any war game, that I found disappointing. I watched the Japanese trailer about a year ago and thought it looked great, but the dialogue really lacks anything more than easy-scripting manliness and Japanese honor. Oh well... so it goes. I'll stick with Claymore, but at least ya'll likes it !
