hmmblah Administrator Staff member Jan 5, 2011 #2 I believe Win7/Vista only have a DVD decoder installed by default. You need to install a blu-ray codec to play them. PowerDVD9 includes one I think. Most blu-ray drives seem to come with that software, I know mine did.

A AMDFTW New member Jan 5, 2011 #3 yes power dvd BD edition i beleve lets you play blurays,it does come with 90% of the bluray players
