Can you do eyefinity

Yes you can but, the bezel will be in the centre of the screen, which is quite distracting when playing games as thats where a lot of the focus is on the screen.

No you can use two? You just dont get the perspective change obviously, but it still increases your resolution, twice the width

That's not eyefinity though, just dual screens using extended desktop. Eyefinity makes the OS think there is one high resolution display.

i can do eyefinity with two.

eyefinity needs 3+ monitors to work

displays with 2 monitors are just extended desktops

games like HAWX which are eyefinity enabled won't work with 2 monitors

eyefinity games have 3 cameras in a scene... a central camera and two other cameras at 15degrees, offset left and right. this gives the illusion of tunnel-vision through a total field of view (FOV) of 30degrees.

Eyefinity lets you play games across multiple monitors changing the perspective to suit your peripheral vision when needed, like tunnel vision.

"AMD Eyefinity Technology enables a single GPU to support up to six independent display outputs simultaneously."

"AMD Eyefinity Technology works with games that support non-standard aspect ratios which is required for panning across three displays."

So the answer would be yeah you can do eyefinity with two monitors but not if you want the tunnel vision, you would need at least three Chuby123.

I stand corrected. AMD really needs to update their other FAQ as that one lists Eyefinity as 3 or more monitors.

How would gaming work with 2 monitors? Wouldn't the crosshair on an FPS be in the bezel area?

Yeah thats what I was saying earlier, but driving games arent too bad
