can i play in 5k ? or do i need another computer?

i m using imac 5k, can i play in 5k with about 60fps ?

- i use macos : no windows (so i lose some fps)
- i only play Diablo3-heroes of the storm

edit: i don t mind using normal graphics setting, i don t need to max em out (actually i never use high settings to have less fan noise)

You only need to look at the many 4K reviews WYP has done on the main site to see not many can be played at 60FPS smoothly even when not maxed out, nevermind at 5K on most likely bad OpenGL ports of DX11.

I don't know about those games you listed specifically, you'd need to find performance figures for those.

You only need to look at the many 4K reviews WYP has done on the main site to see not many can be played at 60FPS smoothly even when not maxed out, nevermind at 5K on most likely bad OpenGL ports of DX11.

Diablo 3 and Heroes of the storm are two of the most played games in the world, so i was asking to the experts!

You could try it if you wanted to. Just set everything as low as possible. Don't expect much though.

ok, at the end i tried it:

i can play in 5K maxed-out perfectly (i disabled AA, but it s about the same performance with and without)

perfect, i can avoid imac pro ! ! !
