you can get more out of it.. max load temp i would be comfy with is 65C you are well below that.

id say raise the FSB and give it a smidge more on the voltage and you should be able to hit 3.8 maybe 4 depending on cooling.

remember not to go past 1.5 on the vcore.. i mean you could.. but thats a lot of stress on the cpu.

ok am now priming with some changed settings

vcore at 1.44

n/b at 1.45

vtt at 1.32

fsb at 423= 3810mhz

temps so far are cores 61-62-63-61

n/b 39

pwm 72----need to get some more flowing accross that i think

Very nice, I would push it to the max if I was you :) See what the max you can get out of it is.. and do a bench mark.

Is your CPU and Graphics on seperate loops or one loop?

well it passed 6 hours of prime95 at those settings,so I am now gonna dial down and see what the lowest vcore is that will run 3.8,after that its time to see how far it will go.

at the moment it is on one loop with 2x 240 rads although i may have to change that to 2 loops as the idle of my gpu core rose by 5 degrees while i was pushing the quad.

res/pump->cpu->rad->gfx->rad->res/pump

Your graphics card is hardly hot though :P

Very nice overclock, I reckon 4ghz could be the golden number for that chip :) Keep pushing dude, Nice one

this is how it stands at the moment,have managed to get a WHOLE 60mhz further and then prime fails on core 2 after 5 mins.have I reached the point where I need to start messing around with the GTL voltages,as mine are still on the default settings
