what cables will i need to use to connect my PC (with 8600GT) to my 19" LCD t.v ? .. i have done it before with my old pc with the 9200 card and i only needed one scart lead :) will it be the same for my new PC? also the 8600GT arrived today :D and came with what seemed to be something for a ps2 lol .. a circular connection point to the computer and the wire splits into 4 with coloured slots (green, blue, yellow, red) .. whats this for and do i need to use it ?

edit: found out what cables i need :) just a VGA cable and the VGA-DVI adapter :) (came with the 8600GT) still have no idea about the split cable colours .. im guessing its for video and audio ? well the VGA cable will support the video transfer to the TV but i dont no how to connect the audio from the PC to the TV.. might just connect my ipod speakers to my PC and use that as speakers as it has a decent volume.

Yellow is usually composite video (mashes all the color channels into one cable)

that splitter you're talking about is most likely a component video adapter

those 3 cables carry video only (1 carries the black and white video, the others carry color information,) for sound you'd have to get another cable (most likely a Y-splitter) and hook it up to your audio line out

im fine with linking the video up as iv done it with my current PC before but i cant see how to link up the audio .. once ive seen a cable or one that has been done it will seem obv to me :p

when i go and get my wireless mouse & keyboard at PC World il have a smooch at the big plasma they have linked up to pc and see how they have done it ... il prob feel stupid after as it will most likly be so simple :D
