Cable Ties

I'm building a new rig, and i really want to make it nice. This of course involves wire management. Previously I've been using metal wire encased in plastic (the ones used to tie trash bags,) not exactly classy.

So my question. Which would be the best cable tie. i only know two forms right now, zip ties and the velcro ones. are there others? which one is the best? I would prefer to have something that looks good, but is still quality and would crumple up and die within a year, or worse, cut my wires up.

Thanks

If it is any help, i'm going to be putting my rig in a NZXT Phantom

I personally prefer zip ties, reasons?...

Hmmm, I like that even a skinny 2.5mm wide zip ties are more than resilient enough to bundle cables together, able to wrap a tight enough diameter to gather unsleeved wires like front panel/fan wires, and discreet enough to be unnoticeable. Oh, and they are CHEAP; $2 for a pack of 100 pieces of 100x2.5mm.

Velcro strips are nice that they are easily reusable.

Zip ties for the pros. Velcro is bulkier, and face it, how much changing stuff around would justify needing velcro?

I use black zip ties. If you use them be sure to snip off the extra bit. Some people don't and they look pants.
