Hello

I've bougt a ax750 psu, and i'm tinking of braiding the cables on it white. and a i got a few questions about it:

-is it hard to do by yourself? or will preesleved extentions give a much beather result.(i've been looking at corsair cables, but i dont like the "shiny" look to them

-What braid is recomended to use? and where to get it?

-is there a way to braid without showing anny heatshrink at all?

-how much braid do i need?

-how long will it take to braid the cables for 8-pin mobo, 24-pin mobo, 6+8pin for the gpu, the sata power conections

-anny good guides for cablesleeving?

If this is placed wrong please move

Thanks for answares, and sorry for my crappy english.

and is there a way to avoid heatshrink? i dont like the look of it.

and how much do braid do i need?

I think it can make a build look really nice. Really makes it stand out.

I am currently doing my corsair tx1050...And it's the worst decision I have ever made lol. It's frustrating, it hurts your fingers, and it takes ages.

Would I recommend it to anyone right now? No. Will it make my rig look better? I think/hope so. Will I do it again? I imagine lol.

So yeah if you want to give it a go and have patience then go for it, I imagine it is just one of those things that will get easier, better and quicker the more you do.

Hope that helps

I'll again recommend MDPC-X sleeve. Best in the world.

The Corsair PSU's do ahve a couple of nags to them, but they aren't bad. I've sleeved an AX, an HX, and a TX. The HX, in my opinion, was harder than the rest.

Sleeving is time consuming and not a very thrilling ride. It takes some time. I can do a 24-pin in about 6-8 hours depending on color of sleeve.

Do what you feel is right to you. First time sleeving can be daunting.

I find paracord perfect for individual cavle sleeving , plus it's very cheap and can find it easily.

mdpc-x is awesome but imo it 's overpriced

I dont see the fun in spending like a week of your life braiding cables....

Doesn't take a week. I can sleeve a fan in 5 minutes. I can sleeve a 24pin in 6-8 hours. I can sleeve an entire PSU and system in about 12 hours. It doesn't take even close to a week.

I sleeved a 24pin in 3.5 hours and it was my first time doing that.

I guess next time I'll do it in 3 hours and with better results.

Just assumed from reading the 24 pin one taking 6-8 hours, you'd only want to be doing like 1/2 cables a day, and with the set from corsair I'd guess it would take a few days at least, unless you were massively eager to do it in a day

Personally, I don't like doing things bit by bit. Some may, but I'll sit and watch movies or listen to music while doing it. Makes the tediousness a little better. Sleeving is by no means the most fun thing to do, but when you come out with a quality job it's pretty awesome.

I think i go for the mdpc-x in white, is a 100m enough?

and should i go for extentions or sleev the cables? if extentions, where to get unsleevend extentions(norway)?

and also. i liked the guide psyduck170 linked, i think ill go for that method
