Butthurt Fanboy

NeverBackDown

AMD Enthusiast
So I ventured in the youtube comment section(that was my first mistake) and i read this(see thumbnail).

This is just sad. He thinks a Phenom X6 at 3,9ghz is raping a 4.5ghz sandy bridge cpu.. I don't mind AMD or Intel but let's be realistic here! I have no idea how he test but that's not even a joke. I don't know wha else to say except he's obviously trying to troll or if not he's just dillusional.

everything on the internet is true, they can't write anything that is not true and
post it on the internet.

i wonder what methodology or testing was done to come to those conclusions?
'cuz i can not argue with those results, for sure..

Nothing wrong with being a fanboy. Im a pretty big AMD and Corsair lover but you can be a fanboy and still be intellectually honest. I try to do this as much as possible and for the most part, I think I do a pretty good job at it. Some guys tho, man they just make us all look bad.

We do this hobby for fun so I see nothing wrong with having your own favorite brand or whatever cause its no different than having your favorite sports team. But when you become fanatic about it and just flat out wrong, it makes fanboyism look pathetic and sad.

I don't particularly have any preference when it comes to my hardware unless needed big amounts of hard drive space storage is a fan point.
I just go with whatever is better for example January last year I bought an Asus Nvidia Geforce GTX 550Ti for around £100 from Aria.
A few months later swapped it for an XFX Radeon HD 5870, stock for stock has 20% more peformance.
I've gone through quite a lot of hardware but only AMD CPU's I have yet to use.
I try not to have a preference but I use my PC for everything and no that is not an exaggeration.
Overclocking, PC games, PC game modding, video editing, audio editing, rendering, 3d models, media PC, writing, website designing and coding, graphics design, etc.
I suppose its okay to be a fan of a particular hardware company but its not okay to force your opinions onto others.

I agree but in this dudes case he had a terrible case of fanboyism:p
Though Corsair IMO aren't as super great as everyone thinks... Just my opinion though i love my GTX Nuetron 240gb ssd:p

Yeah thats what I was saying. Douchenozzles like that guy make honest fanboys like me look bad.

I find YouTube comments tiresome, particularly on pc orientated videos. Most of them tend to devolve into flame wars.

Although they can be funny sometimes. Look up Cooler Masters channel, in their older videos there's a well endowed woman presenting them and going through all the features of their cases. Most of the comments for those videos are some variant of "ZOMG Massive titties!!1!!".

yeah, youtube needs to turn its comment system off, it does nothing good for anyone. All I've ever seen it do is start flame wars, start arguements and just fall into tit vs tat and then spam bots.
It really doesn't bring any valuable content to the scene at all. I'm very surprised at google for letting it continue since they're so hardcore on website spam etc in their search engine.

"First!"
"Thumbs up if you're viewing this in 2013!"
"lol everyone knows XBOX beats PC"

Just some of the YouTube gold I see on a daily basis.

I don't mind the comments.. it's only when i venture into them i regret it:p

You are clearly a fanboy. Just stop.

Man my Commodore 64 will beat just about anything else on the market today LOLZ

No my atari 2600 will! haha

I too am a fan of AMD, but this is pure bull.
Can't argue with intel, they make solid CPUs, if a bit overpriced, but comparing a 1045t with a 3570k anyway... That's just stupid. :p

If you find butthurt fanboys amusing just check out the Linux community.

The Ubuntu Forums can provide much laughter at times, although I haven't looked at them in a long time now.
