Built by Aria - Getting tomorrow!

Hi folks,

Aria have put me together a nice system, priced up at just under £1600 inc VAT, delivery and OCing. The specs are...

2600K @ 4.7Ghz,Noctua NH-D14,8GB Mushkin Ridgeback Redline,2 x MSI 570 GTX Twin Frozr II SLI,60GB Mushkin Callisto SSD,1TB Samsung F3 HD,Samsung BH123l Blu Ray drive,Corsair HX850, NZXT Phantom case.

It's basically their Carbon GT machine but switched the 580GTX for the 570 SLI, upgraded to a Noctua cooler and added an extra case fan.

The guy who built it himself, was kind enough to post some pictures up on their forum and talk about the build (know as Brains1969 on there), quite late at night I will add, off the clock so to speak. (Like what company has people doing that? Amazing service)

Will add more pics once it arrives, hopefully tomorrow.

Very jealous mate, lovely looking rig and making me wonder why I didn't go for the Twin Frozr II, totally loving that guys cable management at the back.

Looking forward to seeing your pics when it arrives and you get it fired up

Looks great, would have probably being £200-£300 cheaper to build yourself though.

What I thought. Until I totalled it all up. £1600 not including the build and overclock.

Somehow... maybe CPU price changing, it's actually worked out slightly cheaper than chucking all the components into the basket and ordering. £1600 pretty much on the mark.

The unit cost me £1600 inc. the OC and build.

Really cannot fault Aria, unnamed scum who I have recently had sore dealings with wanted £1900 for the same build. Another firm quoted £1850. (The usual suspects)

For the first time ever, it made sense to let Aria build it rather than do it myself.

I will get some more pics up soon.

(Oh and i've picked up an unopened 240GB SSD to also go in at a cracking price to be used for Steam)

Looks good nice of em to take the time for some pics, I ordered a mobo bundle form aria about 2 weeks ago and it hasn't skipped a beat.

Well it's here. Packaged really well, looks great... except for this. GOD DAMN YOU DPD!!! Whoever at their depot is responsible for this, I would seriously give a black eye out of principle.

It posted fine, got into the bios and it was idling at 47C.... 48C. Cooler bent. Doesn't appear to be any other damage but who knows.

No fault of Aria though, has to be said.

Holy crap

hopefully nothing else is damaged, that really sucks delivery companies need to take more care hope you get it sorted quick. I don't really know what to say but I'd be ******* off.

Aria are being awesome about the whole thing. Going to send me a new cooler today for tomorrow, but what worries me is that even a bent cooler would surely keep it cooler than 47C? Who knows what DPD have done.

EDIT: Saying that, the brackets on these things are great, probably wasn't making full contact with CPU surface.

Not to mention time is money. All the cablemanagement they do, and overclocking and tweaking. Pretty good deals if you ask me. Course my time is worth squat.

Check all the prices, most can save is £109 lol

It is a great bargain, but you cant beat the feeling of accomplishment when you build your own system, OC it and make it look tidy.
