Building backup gaming rig

I was surfin around Newegg and spotted some mobile A64 3000+ DTR Clawhammers for sale for $100 and couldn't pass up the chance to own one (sweet clockers w/ 1mb l2). So I added that to my cart and then went searching for a s754 mobo when i came across the EPoX 8NPA+ SLI on sale for a cool $89.99. The reason I went with that mobo is A)EPoX mobo's pwn B)I just so happen to own a pair of 6800GT's that aren't being used :D I don't plan on building this one up right away as i'm not in the mood to spend a lot of money right now but I wanted to get a start on it since I got the chance to pick up that chip and that mobo at a great deal.

I'll post some pix and planned specs once the mobo and proc come in!

Like I said in the first post though I'm not trying to go all-out with it nor do the entire build right now... I'll have her finished in 2 or 3 months perhaps.

 Just wondering if you have any more graphics cards lying around not bein g used, say one to fit a dfi nf4 sli dr.:D

Wirelessly posted (Nextel BB7520: BlackBerry7520/4.0.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

Nope sorry mate, only have my GT's spare right now.

I have an old arse agp2x rage3d u could rig up ;)

Mobo and proc came in today... A lovely lot indeed! I've decided I'm going to use it for DICE testing for now at least, it should definately be fun on that DTR as it should scream bloody murder :D I was also able to find ever last piece to both of my 6800GT's so I got the heatinks and fan assemblies all reinstalled and ready for action.

Here's a few high quality pix:

EPoX always does a bitchin' job when it comes to retail packaging design, it's leaps and bounds above other manufacturers.... Outstanding!

Some healthy specs for a socket 754 motherboard...

And the crown jewel itself, ta da!

EPoX uses a pretty sturdy looking chipset fan as usual, slightly different from the 939 mobo's fan...

The ever-famous onboard 80 port debug LED for troubleshooting POST issues...

Mah new little pride and joy Mobile Athlon 64 3000+ DTR Clawhammer w/ 1mb L2...

A couple shots of the board with my 6800GT's installed :)
