Building a £800 rig for mate

Hey guys as in the title im building a rig at about £800 for a budget and im not sure on the cpu. I was going to go z77 with a 3570k but i was thinking if im using a noctua nh d14and i want to oc to 4.5ghz what should i get the difference is about 10 quid between it and a 2500 which i a documented belter of a chip would it be better to just get the sandy which will run nice and chill or get the hotter cheap thermalpasted ihs equipped ivy. Like i said the price difference isnt that big but is there a performance difference big enough to deserve the higher temps

2500k would be the better value but I would recommend getting the 3750K because there is not much difference in price.

What are the other specs?

You'll get a 3570k to 4.5 on a D-14 anyway. The IB actually runs cooler at all clocks until it reaches it's thermal limit where it just goes nuts. IB is still better...

im pretty sure i havent forgotten anything. that including delivery is about £825 and with a budget of £800 i think ive speced him up pretty well. if you guys have any suggestions or changes that would be cool.

Looks good, but yeah you might wanna swap the PSU. Something like a Silverstone Strider or a Be Quiet unit would be more reliable

hey guys has anyone had any issues with msi board trying to do first boot but im stuck at a blank screen with a flashing underscore at the top right and sometimes and sometimes a code a2 at the bottom left and it just hangs there i built the thing infront of my mate and hes a little concerned and it seems to be jhust one of those things aso have any of you got any ideas. i have jumped the cmos a few times and it does the same thing over again. i may try stripping it as a sata cable may have came loose on it i i have felkt inside and they are in seemingly as far as they will go but i will try again tomorrow. any suggestions or past experience would be much appreciated

so i got up today and i am completely destroyed with illness so my mate came and collected the rig and brought it to a local pc shop and hit the delete key and it worked so i am happy. a little confused why when i did it that nothing happened but that neither here nor there the people also complimented my building skills and choice of components but alas because i was at work when my mate collected it i have no photos of my craftmanship but ill be round his house sometime next week fitting a new fan 3pin-molex connector as i was short and shall take a few images then.

Im still really bad im only at work cos its my company and my bro inlaw business partner is away on business so i have to keep going regardless lol. My mate took it to a computershop and they hit delete and it worked so maybe i was mashing the del key a little too hard. Soni have yet to see my handiwork in action
