Build question

Hey guys,

I have a question, I'm planning on a new build and the color theme is black and blue.

I'll be getting the Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, so an mATX case.
I've been recommended a motherboard, the MSI Z97M-G43.

My question to you guys are, since I've tried doing some research on my own, without the best of luck, I'm afraid.
Do you guys think that I could be able to do a dual graphics card setup in that case with that motherboard?... as in my eyes, it looks like the PCI slots on the motherboard are too far away from each other, in comparison to the PCI brackets on the case?...

Do you guys know any other mATX board that could potentially get this correct?... since the case only has 4 brackets.

For further info regarding the specs, are the following:

Intel i7 4790K
Corsair Vengeance PRO 1866MHz 32GB
2x Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X (Blue one)

Thanks!

Well its an m-ATX board in an m-ATX case, so it should fit fine I think. You might want to wait for other replies as well though.

That is true and exactly my thought... although, the Arc Mini R2 has, as I mentioned, 4 brackets. And the Corsair Obsidian 350D for example, which also is an mATX case, has 5.

So maybe there is something to the Arc Mini R2, as it only has 4 brackets.

But I don't know and I'm really unsure... hence why I ask here as you guys are the pros, and I'm not.

Yea the slots on most motherboards have been purposefully built several slots apart to aid airflow to the GPUs. Running air-cooled GPUs back to back is asking for hest issues, especially with AMD cards in small cases. There might be a board that suits that but the vast majority are going to be designed to separate the GPUs as much as possible.
