Hello guy, to start with It to me about 5 minutes to pick where to post this.

anyway, what order would you guys build your systems? This is how I build them;

OUTSIDE-CASE

Motherboard

RAM

CPU

Heat-sink

IN-CASE

Fans

PSU if modular, if not at the same time as cables.

Disc - if one is needed

Motherboard

Cables

HDDs/SSDs

Depends on how i feel that day , No joke !

so its pretty random with me.....

greetings Ray.....

This is how i do it mostly:

Fans (if i'm adding new ones)

PSU installed in case

Optical Drive (if i'm using one), HDD's & SSD's installed

Then outside the case:

CPU into socket

RAM installed

Heatsink on and installed

Then i put it all in the case, connect it all up then at the last minute i slot the GPU in and connect that up too.

I put the CPU, heatsink, and ram on the mobo

put the fans then psu in the case

insert harddrives or, lol "optical drives" (what are those?)

run all the cables

put the mobo in the case

connect everything that needs to be done

cleanup

PSU and cables to roughly the right places.

Mobo,CPU,RAM (externally)

Fans

Install mobo,CPU,ram

Optical Drives

Hard Drives

GPU

That's a rough order, it changes though.

I put the mobo in the case

fit PSU and do all the motherboard cable management

install the CPU, apply thermal paste and fit the

heatsink

fit RAM and GPU and sort out GPU cable management

fit HDD and fans

Job Done.

Install PSU into case, plug into the wall and touch to 'ground' myself.

Outside:

1. Put motherboard on motherboard box

2. Install RAM

3. Install heatsink

Inside: (Case on its side during installation process.)

4. Install hard drives and optical drives into bays.

5. Route the cables to roughly where they need to go.

6. Install motherboard

7. Install graphics card

8. Plug everything in.

9. Press 'On' switch and cross fingers.

*If nothing happens at Step 9.

10. *BEEP* and Nerd Rage
