Hey Guys, Gam here again, but this time... with a build. And an actual build, not just asking for advice (yay). So before I get into the details and specs, I wanted to thank all of you that helped me choose what parts to use since I definitely would not have been able to do it without you guys! Now that that stuff is out of the way...

THE SPECS

Intel Core i7-3770K 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
MSI Z77A-GD65 ATX LGA1155
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Samsung Spinpoint F4 2TB 3.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive
Crucial M4 256GB 2.5" Solid State Disk
Asus GeForce GTX 670 2GB Video Card
Coolermaster Cosmos II
Corsair Professional Gold 750W
Asus BC-12B1ST/BLK/B/AS Blu-Ray Reader, DVD/CD Writer
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (64 bit)

I am pretty happy with the overall build and the parts I am getting. I think I chose well (with help of course), and will have the option to upgrade in the future, which was an important part!

PERIPHERALS

Dell Ultrasharp 23" IPS Monitor
Logitech Wireless Combo MK260 (Keyboard/Mouse)

I have other things in mind that I want to buy, but they weren't necessary for the initial build and since I am on a bit of a budget, I plan on buying those later.

I just ordered everything today (9/24/12) and I will be getting things all throughout the next week (up until Oct. 3rd) so I will take pictures the best I can when the items get here, and 8 things should be coming tomorrow (Amazon rocks), so I can kind of keep a log of the items themselves. When I get a chance too actually build it, I'll be sure to take pictures of that, because I know that's the stuff you guys want to see!

And remember, don't be too harsh :P, it's my first build!

Thanks for all the help and support -Jared

looks interesting. good hardware selection! The Hyper 212 is gonna look small in that huge case though. lol

Thanks! And yeah some of the things will look small at first but when I watercool it and hopefully add another gpu it will be a little bit more to scale. That's a bit of a ways down the road though.

Sounds like an awesome build the only thing I would change if it were me would be the cpu cooler a D14 or Havik 140 or H80/100

If you're not planning to water cool in the future that case is really overkill. You would have been better off with a Fractal or Corsair case. I also agree with the above about the CPU cooler. Other than that it looks like it will be a really nice build.

I do plan on watercooling, I thought I mentioned that, sorry. I chose the case for that and the look.

Hey GAM, im new in the forum and i made my first build too and i posted in the Rig Gallery. I'm wishing you good luck and hope to see some photos soon.
The build specs are nice and the cosmos II is a really nice case. I like the huge towers too.
Ok. I'm on the waiting to see the log. :)

When I get home from school, roughly an hour and a half, I should have a couple parts from newegg and like 8 things from amazon coming. hopefully I can get some pics up today! thanks for the luck, I think I'll need it.

The parts! They have arrived!
(Well some of them atleast!)

YES GO AMAZON. I am now convinced that Amazon is the best, merely for the fact that they got half of the items I bought less than 24 hours ago to my house already.

So I got home from school today in anticipation of having about 3 of my items waiting, but I got to the door to see a pile of boxes. I couldn't have been happier!

On to the pictures! (All pictures from phone)

And here is my car collection... work area. I literally set this up in 5 minutes. I am definitely jealous of you guys out there with work shops of your own :P

I will upload more pics as the parts arrive! I should be getting my monitor later today... should.
