So guys, im just wantng to make sure that i havn't missed anything for a build for a friend.

Motherboard: Msi Z77A-G45
GPU: Gigabyte 670 4gb
CPU: 3570k
Ram: corsair vengeance 2x4gb 1600Mhz
Storage: a 1tb seagate barracuda 7200rpm
PSU: corsair CX600W

He will take my old case (CM Storm Trooper).

And i tried to talk him over to go with the tx series of PSU but he didnt want to.

His price range is not to get over 800£ and thats what this would cost here in sweden so if something is gonna get up in prece something must get down in price :)

and i will also overclock the CPU a little and throw in my old H60 till next month so it can hold the temps a little better.

Thanks guys

He really won't need a 4 GB card unless he games at a resolution that's higher than 1080p or 1200p. Also, an HD7970 would be better for the money if the rig is just for gaming

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 4096MB OC

with windforce 3x

the 7970 cost more then the 670 here and he might use 3 screens later on

SeekaX the 7950 cuII 3gb is about 356 GBP here and the 670 windforce 2x 4gb is 371 GBP in sweden so i would still go with the 670 4gb for that price.
And no im not making the prices up and it might be diffrent from your country but here in sweden the prices are like this.

Well OC'ing in mind the 7950 will end up being the faster card(stock vs stock they are very close).. also do not forget that the 670 may have 4gb but still is bottlenecked with a 256bit bus where as the 7950 is 3gb but also a 384bit bus which will greatly help with games, mainly the minimum frame rate but will still produce higher averages in the end.
