braided cable question

hi everyone

Im looking at getting the seasonic x series psu. either 650 or 750 i havent decided yet...

but i really want to use the corsair individually braided cables... i know they are basically identical to the corsair units so im wondering if the corsair cables will be compatible with the seasonic psu?

can anyone help with this?

Bitfenix makes braided cables as well though.

Corsair braided cables have been made specifically for a few PSU series.

i might be wrong, but thinking the 24 and 8-pin motherboard cables are different
in PSU pin out, but the peripherials GPU, SATA, molex are the same. a couple of
peeps have itterated the same elsewhere. there are online sleeving services
available, if you do not want to do it yourself, but do not know their reputations.
your kinda stuck with extensions or sleeve it yourself.

i was afraid that might the problem... and for the cost of getting them sleeved i might as well just buy an ax 750 and get the cables anyway

If you're thinking about braiding yourself, save yourself some headaches and get a Silverstone Strider series.
