Wow, and I thought I was having bad weather where I am because it's been dark and cloudy for two weeks.

Don the life jacket Hayley, looks like you might need it

This is only some of the pictures, it has gotten a lot worse..... Roads breaking up, roofs collasping etc

Its meant to be the start of the "Bournemouth Air Show" but obviously that was a no go! (ah well always Friday, Saturday, Sunday)

I have never seen anything like this in bournemouth, sirens going off everywhere.

I know this is nothing compared to some places, but this is BIG for bournemouth.....

Stay safe Hayley! Scary situation. Is your house in a low area?

I live about "half way up a hill" "ish" but the water is gushing down the hill..... tis crazy, I have a bit of video from neighbours garden, i'll see if I can upload it..

Aww Hayley, That is proper sucky, Makes you wish you had a Flat i guess, Hope your computer is safe, I'd do anything to save mine

wow. I know you said you wanted to go water cooling but didn't expect you to water cool the whole of Bournemouth ..

Thats a bit mental.

Believe me the Computer is SAFE!!!! I have no kids, so I would save my PC first LOL!!!

Today seems like a completely different place, its sunny, and not alot of water around...... (I say not alot, NOTHING compared to yesterday)

Thankfully I wasn't made homeless, but there were a few that were.....

Probably going to be awhile before somethings are back to normal..... Roads being ripped up etc.. Just Crazy.......

Neither did I till parents told me. I don't watch TV

Don't really watch TV myself a great deal, though I did catch the national news where it was mentioned. We had heavy rain in Oxford but it was steady over the day so no flash floods thankfully.

I still remember the heavy rain a few years ago, our HQ building was about a foot to 18 inches deep in water on the ground floor...as for the basement...well, they had to send divers down to retrieve critical stuff from the fire safes...

The guy I'd been working with until a couple of months earlier was an ex-navy diver who'd gotten himself an office job...must have been a strange day for him!

Cheers,

Scoob.
