Bottom mounted psu

Hi, I've just got new CPU, memory etc, now I'm thinking I want a new case. The one I'm looking at has a bottom mounted psu. Will this be an issue if my case sits on carpet? There is a dust filter, I'm more worried about overheating I think

You can always put spacing feet on the case, i'd be more worried about the excessive dust floor mounted cases seem to attract.

Just turn the PSU fasing upwards drawing air in it from the case, like tom does in basically all the rigs I've seen.

If you are going to put your case on the carpet, flip it so the fan faces upwards. Carpet not only has a lot of dust in it, but it also restricts airflow, which means you'll cook your PSU.
