hey guys, well i was playing with clocks and ****, and suddenly on a bot up i got an error saying that a file was missing or corrupt.

Now i found this webiste, and many others http://xphelpandsupport.mvps.org/how_do_i_repair_my_windows_xp_in.htm and i follow it, except the fact that if i press fresh install, i get no option to repair? and i don't want to loose all my data? i press fressh install, thne f8 for the license agreement, and then it shud have option for repair according to that and others, but there isn't it just says iam trying to install a partition on unpartioned space, or with a os alrready on or w/e.

if i press r for repair i get this recovery console that i have no clue how to use.

i hope someone here can help me as your all pretty much experts, ehehe.

Duuuude what happens is it asks you if you want to repair you say you say no then you go to do a fresh install it asks someat like if you want to keep you file system intact but delete the old windows crap you say yes

Why I always run partitions/multi hdds so that all data goes seperate from windows and I don't care if I have to reinstall :D

Well i have got 2 HD's, all my data is on my other HD, but id rather not wipe me raptor. So Format is the only real answer here? Guess ill do that then.

I also thought i was installing it again back over me C drive, but the i put windows on me storage drive as well, what should i do with that? can i just delete the windows folders?

it does what i said fatty i don't get what ya saying mate.

Ok ive had to format, everything is completey ****ed, i think my rpator is ****ed, and iam sick of every ****ing thing going wrong, so iam going to sell everything.

but i just want to get the internet working and it's not.

Basically my pc shares a connection with this pc iam on now. this pc is fine, haven't changed it, my pc see's this pc, but i cannot connect to the internet?
