That means it was a good leg day![]()
This week was the best week in the whole summer for me, benched 101kg x 8 on monday, got sore as fuck and squatted extremely clean 90kg for a couple of sets, legs were on fire. Still sore as I'm writing. Gaining some fat (about 9% now) but strength skyrocketed, haven't benched anything over 90 this whole summer![]()
Oh no Tripp you don't go to Ainsdale gym do you?
Ahh I see. Stay away from Ainsdale, my old boss is a bitch.
She's always been a nutter mate, to keep electric bills down she'll go round turning lights and TV off then a couple of old men complained so she balled at them and kicked them out.
I was working 8am till about 1, back in at 4 till' 10pm everyday and 9-2 on weekends unpaid because I had to do like 20 hours for my PT course. I became good mates with my manager who happened to be the boss partner, they had a baby, they split up so because I was mates with him and saw him outside of work she swore at me and sacked me...then I figured she was worried I'd give the earnings book to him so he could get back at her over dodging tax.
She's an absolute bitch mate and 90% of the members think so.
Do you know Darren our local postie? Just ask him, he doesn't like her.
After quite a bit of a break from squats, I'm back to having them as my main exercise for Leg Day.
I totally forgot how good Ass to Grass Squats feel.![]()
That means you worked out well, and hit your legs hard. That leads to serious gains if you keep it up provided you eat right in conjunction with it.Tell that to my legs today, I feel like someone has slipped giant smarties tubes on my legs, I wouldn't mind but it was leg day 2 days ago
Aye I know no pain go gain, I am eating fairly well using PHD iso-7 too, which usually helps me not feel so bad the next day but I must of really hit my leg day hard. ah well arms and lower abs later hahahaThat means you worked out well, and hit your legs hard. That leads to serious gains if you keep it up provided you eat right in conjunction with it.
Dude, one of the things about building strength that you've got to get to love is having soreness the day after. Taking myself as an example, this week towards the start I gave myself an extremely sore chest, these last few days including today, my back (lats) have been quite sore. Tomorrow I'll have sore legs (hopefully).
Feeling good for me = being sore the following day.![]()
