blue screen? blue lines? what the hell is it

hey guys ive been gaming here and there and today as I loaded up nfs carbon blue lines appeared before me

I dont know what they are from. ive ruled out everything, gpu clocks,cpu clocks everything I could think of

any one else have this issue? note that my system does not shutdown it just goes blue lines that back to the home screen.

Does this happen only with this game or it's started to happen after installing the game at any thing else for your system?

just to be sure have you tried your monitor cable???
