Blue screen bios restart

Hey guys,

I've recently bought a lamptron fleclight pro 600mm and coolermaster megaflow 200 for my haf x case. Very rarely I've had a bios error blue screen come up with a restart, the only error I noticed was something to do with memory. Before I installed my new items I never had a issue with bios shutdowns (ran prime 95 overnight after my overclock) I connected my new items not directly into the psu but branching of a wire. Is it possible that the new items are in need of more voltage from my overclock?

Specs:

seasonic xp-1000 1000W power supply

corair dominator memory (16gig)

2600k overclocked to 4.5 ghz with 1.34V

imo the flexlight must be connected straight to the psu cause it needs many amperes to work

Yeah i wouldnt connect leds from a branch cause they loose some power that way i.e they arent as bright

it should have a molex adapter right? just plug it straight from psu

or would it be recommended to get individual cables for the 2 items? and not the splitter.

yeap. the flexlight should be on its own.

the fan can be connected anywhere, it doesn't need any serious power , just 2-5 watts.

I still dont understand why my comp was bios'ing. I ran prime 95 in all modes for a while and nothing happened.....
