blood red coolant

hi guys i'm looking for some blood red coolant for my new build.

just want to know what is the best brand to pick, i've done load of reading and found some issues with EK and Mayhems but i have no idea if they have resolved these issues, so what brand you awesome people recommend?

also can't find any place that has primochill PrimoFlex Advanced LRT clear 10mm/16mm hosing, so now i need to look for a replacement is XSPC High Flex any good?

I'm pretty sure all coolant has its set of problems. If I were you, Id go for some red tubing and distilled water. Sorry if this isn't helpful, but its my opinion. :D

it was what I did. I was initially looking at dark red liquids, but decided on red acrylic from monsoon, and clear liquid. I also picked the red reservoir from bitzpower. My reason was how easy will it be to clean. Sure any mix will leave something behind, but whatever dye is used is just that much extra. I assume dyes that clump up and stick to the fins in your cpu/gpu blocks will hinder flow and cooling/contact with coolant.

that's my 2 cents (or .01 sterling)

+1 to the original question. They can't all be completely awful, how is EC6 and the feser stuff? Isn't Tom running EC6 in Orca? I have been reading a fair share of bad stories about EK blood red which is putting me off pretty bad but it's sooo much prettier in blocks than clear coolant. I don't mind if it needs changing every 4-6 months.

There has to be a sensible compromise between clear and show coolant that can survive daily use for a short stint? If the gov is watching down i'd love the hear his current thoughts given past experiences.

I have had EK blood red in my rig for almost one year now, no problems and it looks as good now as the day (night actually :) ) that I put it in.
I will be using it again :D
hope this helps.
